In the Advanced Phonics course, you will learn how to fine tune your phonics teaching, with extra insights, activities and tips to help your students get the most from their phonics lessons.
The 7 stages of phonics are re-examined, with key points revisited, and teaching tips and extra activities given. Two new stages that bridge Stages 4 & 5 are introduced. There are two modelled lessons including a modelled lesson for one of the new stages and a Stage 6 modelled lesson. Also covered are tips on how to help students transfer what they learn in phonics into their reading and writing.
The on-demand video format of this course allows you to self-pace your learning and make it work with when and where you want to learn. The course covers all the learning covered in an in-person Advanced Phonics course or live webinar.
