EARLY WORDS MANUAL
This manual covers the first 48 high frequency words. These words have been selected as the words that have the most pay-off for early readers i.e. the words that are the most useful to learn first. Once children know these words, they are well on their way in developing the skills needed to learn words and will more quickly acquire other words when they are reading. 288 pages.

EARLY WORDS MANUAL 2
Early Words 2 is perfect for students who need the ongoing support of a structured programme to learn 63 high frequency words.
Pupils will learn the word endings ‘ed’ and ‘ing’ as well as the many basic words needed to read to the end of Yellow (Level 8). Early Words 2 is suitable both for children who are new to or who are familiar with the first Early Words book. Anyone at the beginning stage of learning to read will benefit from Early Words 2.
